Wounded Heroes Fund & The Band Von Cotton
New CD release party of the "Soldiers Lullabies"
The Crystal Palace, Bakersfield, CA
After traveling to Afghanistan & Iraq to perform for our troops, the Von Cotton band members decided to produce a CD that would honor members of the U.S. military. The songs on "Soldiers Lullabies" were inspired and written documenting the trials and struggles of soldiers and their families.
The band's extraordinary musical talent, coupled with awareness of noteworthy moments of the war, further emphasize the importance of the freedom that U.S. citizens enjoy every day - day after day. Thank you to the Von Cotton band; Brant Cotton, Jimmie Acre, John Bowdler, Handford Pittman, and Jeff Nemeth.
All proceeds for this event will be donated to the Wounded Heroes Fund - Kern County Chapter.

The three left Campo on the Mexican border on May 6 under the banner of Trek for Troops and are making their way to Canada, a trek of 2,650 miles. Their goal is to raise $100,000 on their 25 re-supply/singing stops.
