A	Yes. The Kern County Wounded Heroes Fund has not-for-profit status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Q	How much of your cost is spent on assistance to injured service members?
A	All of our expenses will be spent on our mission of "Assisting Our Injured Service Members."
Q	Do you employ professional fundraisers?
A	No. Our fundraising is done by our volunteers.
